Filter-Ag is used for suspended solids reduction/removal. Its fractured edges and irregular surface provides a high surface and complex flow path for effiecient removal of suspended matter through out the filter bed, typically reducing suspended solids down to the 20-40 micron range. Filter-Ag's larger particle size creates less pressure loss through the filter and allows for deeper sediment penetration into the filter bed for high sediment loading and longer filter runs.

Operating Parameters: pH full range, filter bed should be allowed to soak for 24-hours prior to backwashing the first time.

Standard Filter Systems are available from 10"-72" diameter vessels, from single to multiple tank designs with a wide range of controls.
